This is a completely innocent shot, the two pictured were just chatting while waiting for some others to finish having photos done for them. I saw them there, nothing better to do so rattled off a couple of frames. Looking back, with the alley-esque back ground (it's actually the artillery barracks) and the poise of both my mind (and this could just be saying something about me) jumped to this image of a soldier propositioning a young lady in a seedy alley.
I can assure you they are both really lovely and there is nothing untoward unfolding. Amazing how a single image can take an entire situation and totally change the context of it. History Alive 2008 |
